About games

Had such a hectic work week previously that I'm glad last weekend saw me catching up on my well-deserved break from work.

Attended Theresa's church wedding with some colleagues on Saturday afternoon (next time must remind myself that Hubby can just come along even if the card doesn't say "...and partner" :p), then met Hubby in town. We had already planned to check out Gamescore @ Funan cos had in mind some games to get. In the end, we bought two:

Guitar Hero: World Tour is our 4th GH game, and we thoroughly enjoy it! Been rocking hard at home since we got the game on Saturday -- the two of us spent the whole day on Sunday just chilling out and playing song after song as a band. There's a large variety of songs by various singers, and graphics are even cooler than the previous GH games. Hubby and I enjoy playing most of the songs -- it's only those heavy metal ones that we don't really like, but thank goodness there are so many songs nicer than those in the game. :)

The other game that features Jamie Oliver on DS was purchased on an impulse cos I love cooking games and all the cooking games I'd bought before this were really fun to play. BUT ALAS!!! This one turned out to be such a disappointment cos, can you believe it, after completing the trial for only 1 recipe, I got stuck on the next one. Dunno if there's something wrong with the cartridge or what. I just can't seem to complete the next recipe -- some pancake dish. The pancake mix just keeps sticking to the pan and I can't flip it no matter what, and then end up I fail in my mission. *Grrrrr* Tried so many times liao and am getting nowhere. I've half a mind to sell this game back to Gamescore. At least can get some voucher or something. Really don't wanna keep this game. X_X

Never mind. Back to Trauma Centre 2 it is for me.
