Oooh yes! So happy with my new camera... fiddled with it in the morning, trying to get used to its functions. It's really quite user-friendly, which works for an amateur photographer like me! Hee hee hee. Bloggy's gonna see more pictures from now onwards! Ho ho ho...
Apart from it being the first day I test out my new camera, several events also took place today, making it a really significant day. While Hubby and I were playing table tennis at home today, a parcel from Amazon.com arrived. Yaay... what arrived was the sets of DVDs that Hubby ordered -- and one of them is the grand box set of the sitcom " FRIENDS" (all ten seasons of them!) that I asked Hubby to order for me some time ago. Check it out...
My very own collection of "FRIENDS"!
So many hours of entertainment all in a box
It's really quite cool... all ten seasons are placed in lovely disc sets, and there's even a collector's book on the sitcom. The box is also of pretty good quality and nicely designed. Hubby and I watched the first episode over lunch today... some parts were amusing to me, but Hubby doesn't seem so enthusiastic about it... haha.. think this show's really no big deal to him... it takes intelligent humour to amuse him... :p
Now for the other DVD set... it's the final season of "SEINFELD"! With this final set, our "SEINFELD" DVD collection is also complete at last! Now that's a show that can really tickle... even Hubby loves it...
Our full collection of "SEINFELD"!
Later in the early evening, after I had worked the rest of the afternoon away, Hubby and I walked to the reservoir for a stroll. We hardly do that, but I think it's a very nice couple activity, plus we get to relax and exercise at the same time, not that Hubby needs the exercise though (I'm the one who needs it :p). Sometimes, just seeing the little waves in the water soothes my nerves. No wonder I like to watch the sea so much. :)
Tranquil scenery of the reservoir
Hehe... that's not the end. In the evening, we finished watching the first season of "HEROES"... as much as I like the show, I didn't quite enjoy the ending... but I guess it won't stop me from wanting to catch the second season (at least still got the "YATA!" guy, Hiro Nakamura in it... hee.) Anyway, we're left with just the bonus disc to watch... :)
So... yep... many many happy things happened today... it's a day to remember! ;)
